BALA did his Btech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1977 and MSEE from Lousiana State University Baton Rouge in 1982. He has spent over 20 years in the Semiconductor industry, mostly in the US. He is currently based in Bangalore as the Managing Director of Intersil India, a subsidiary of US based Intersil Semiconductor Corp.
BALA has been playing light music on the mandolin since the age of 10. He has participated extensively in the IITD music scene during his IIT days from 1972-1977, including in Kanpur cultural festivals. Continued as an accompanying musician for various bands in the San Francisco Bay area from 1982-2003. Also accompanied various ghazal singers, including Ustad Ghulam Ali of Pakistan. Bala learnt Hindustani classical music on the sarod from Ustad Ali Akbar Khan in San Francisco from 1985-1992, and he continues to play the sarod. He started learning Hindustani vocal music in 1998 and has been singing Hindi film songs for over 5 years.

DPT did his Btech in Mechanical Engg. from IIT Delhi in 1980. A born freelancer, he is currently into devolopment of microcomputer boards and embedded software and LINUX.
DPT has represented IIT Delhi in IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay and IIT Madras in Fine Arts, Photography and Dramatics. He looks after this website.

JAI Singh did his Btech in Chemical Engg. from IIT Delhi in 1980. He has about 26 years experience in petrochemical industry and he is currently working for ESSAR.
JAI Singh was the Kishan-Kanhaya of IIT Delhi. He plays flute.He travels all the way from Jam Nagar to Delhi for IITD Alumni musical evenings.

SANDY did his Btech in Textile Technology. from IIT Delhi in 1980. He has been implementing ISO/ CMM in Textile industry in UK, Indonesia and India. SANDY is well-known as the Manna Dey of IIT Delhi. His singing style makes the semi classical songs sound pop to common man. He has won 1st prize in many Inter-College competitions during his IIT days.

ALOK joined Btech in Civil Engineering in IIT Delhi in 1971 and after passing out joined dept of telecommunication through upsc exams in 1978 He is currently working as Superintending Engg. (civil) in MTNL Delhi loking after creation ,maintenance and commercial exploitation of MTNL's infrastructural assests.
ALOK has done sangeet prabhakar from Prayag university Allahabad
He has learnt classical vocal music from: Sh. Chotey Lal (Delhi) , Pt. Sant Ram (Mumbai) , Pt. Dhram prakash Upadhaya (Bareilly), andPt. Shri Dutt Sharma (Delhi).

MANJUL Joshi did B.Tech in Textile Technology.from IIT Delhi in1984,and is into garment exports & import of garment accessories setup in Bangalore.
Manjul has recorded many songs of Kishore and Rafi at a recording studio and his singing has been well appreciated by all those who have heard him. You can judge for yourself by downloding his recordings from DOWNLOAD page. many to be uploaded by Oct. End.

ROLEE Agarwal , from Welham Girls School, Dehradun, did her B.A(Hons.) in Pol.Science from LSR, New Delhi followed by M.A (Socio) from JNU, New Delhi. She is currently in Indian Revenue Service ( 1991 batch) as Additional Commissioner of Income Tax.
She has Music CD & Cassette released by T-Series ‘Mele mein thumka’ (Rajasthani folk). Music Video promotional also aired on ETV. She has a lot of singing experience on stage at school, college, IRS Academy Nagpur etc. She has been Editor of School & College magazines, has Worked as Subeditor, Hindustan Times in 1990-91, has been President, Political Science Department, Lady Shriram College,and Cultural Secretary of National Academy, Direct Taxes, New Delhi. Her hobbies are reading , writing, Dance and Music.

GANESH Did B.Tech in Elect. Engg. from IIT Delhi in 1972. and is presently running own entity G.S.Technology representing manufacturers of equipment and systems for Semiconductor device processing and chracterization.
Ganesh trained in Carnatic Music when young, gradually moved on from the Harmonium to the Harmonica and to the Piano Accordion at IITD Music Club. where he got all the great oppurtunity to learn and display. The Accordion has always been a part of Ganesh thereafter. Musical adventure also includes having played the Synth with a Band called 'Odyssey' during the stint in Pune.

VINOD RISHI, 63 Mc6) graduated from IIT Delhi in 1968. He is the first IIT graduate to become an Indian Forest Service officer in 1969 through the open UPSC competition after the service was re-created in the post-Independence India in 1966. He considers that the IFS grooms fresh science graduates into managers of renewable natural resource while IITs and IIMs groom them into managers of non-renewable resources. He has held many of the top-most positions in the IFS heirarchy,and is recognised as a specialist in the field of Wildlife Management. Currently he heads the National Forest Academy at Dehradun, the alma-mater of all senior Indian Forest Service officers.
A footballer in IITdays, he represented IIT Delhi in inter-IIT as well as inter-University tournaments. He is also a wildlife painter. But more than these he was loved by his colleages for his skill at rendering music numbers, both Hindi film songs as well as western pop music, on his Piano accordion.Rated as a Piano-accordionist par-excellence, he still cherishes his love for 'his sweet-heart', picks up his accordion now and then to play the old nostalgic numbers.

KUSAL SEN did Btech.in Textile Chemistry in 1977 and Ph.D. in 1981- both from IIT Delhi. Joined the Department of Textile Technology, IIT Delhi as a faculty in 1981 and is currently a professor in the same department as well as Professor- in-charge, Training and Placement, IIT Delhi.Has served as the Dean, Alumni Affairs and International Programmes and Head, Educational Technology Services Center. He has been President, Board for Recreational Activities, IIT Delhi.
For Kusal music (vocal) is a serious hobby. He has informally made serious efforts in learning Hindustani classical and at present enjoys singing ghazals and semi classicals

ARSHAD MAJEED did PhD in Mathematics from IIT Delhi in 1980 and is currently running his own coaching center at Delhi, especially for IIT aspirants appearing in JEE. He is also a renowned author on a book on Mathematics
A vocalist with great voice, Majeed has represented IIT Delhi at many places in music competition during his IIT days. He now sings occasionally, but never misses any chance to listen or perform.

Promod Kumar Kush, 1980 Batch, M.Tech.Chemistry

Working as Director with Bureau of Indian Standards , a Central Goverment Department and looking after certification activities of Management Systems at Central Region of India.

PKK has number of Albums , Films and T V Serials to my credit as a lyricist/Writer. Has have published a no. of books on poetry, dramatics and Urdu Ghazals and have won no. of awards from literary and other academic organizations. Composes music. PKK had won no of awards for dramatics, writing etc during 1978-1980 at IIT Delhi competions too.
